Connect Hour Classes & Groups: (see calendar to left)

The Gospel in Daily Life: For the next two months we will be offering four classes in our Connect Hour that seek to inspire and equip us to apply the Gospel to our daily lives.
1. Upper Room: Faith & Work Series
The Upper Room will focus on how the Gospel informs and transforms our work. We will look theologically through the lens of the Bible, while simultaneously looking through the lens of our culture and daily experiences in each field and segment of work. There will be teaching, interviews, speakers and panels.
2. Meaning of Marriage
6 week class on The Meaning of Marriage, by Tim Keller, taught by Priscilla and Holden MacRae and Dina and Brian Newman. Open to singles, dating, engaged, widowed, divorced, or newly or long-time married people who want to explore a Biblical vision and understanding of marriage. We encourage people (married and unmarried) to join the group to offer a well-rounded perspective!

3. Soul Care
Every month we will pause together to keep step with Jesus and focus on a spiritual discipline, habit, or practice. In our time of reflection, prayer, and spiritual transformation, we seek to put Jesus' words from Matthew 11:28-30 in practice, "Come to me all who are weary and heavy-burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." January 28 & February 25in the Fellowship Hall.
4. Celebrate Recovery 101
For all men who are interested in leading, serving, participating or learning about a Christ-based recovery program that seeks to bring freedom in Christ from life's hurts, habits, and hangups. You can expect worship, a testimony, and a lesson. This is not a time for sharing, only fellowship, learning and vision casting for the larger program at MPC.
